A fan who assaulted New Orleans Pelicans assistant coach Joe Boylan has been banned from all NBA, WNBA, G League, and 2K League events, league sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.
All NBA teams received a memo Saturday regarding the ban, which a league spokesperson has since confirmed, reports Charania.
Prosecutors charged Manuel Garcia with misdemeanor assault for allegedly punching Boylan in the face on Oct. 26 following a matchup between the Houston Rockets and Pelicans. The Rockets already handed Garcia a lifetime ban.
