Las Vegas Aces star A'ja Wilson signed a six-year contract extension with Nike in one of the most lucrative shoe deals ever for a women's basketball player, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania and Alexa Philippou.
Wilson's new deal is in the range of similar shoe contracts inked by fellow Nike athletes Caitlin Clark, JuJu Watkins, and Sabrina Ionescu, adds Charania and Philippou.
Nike will release Wilson's first signature shoe - the A'One - in spring 2025.
The two-time WNBA champ is coming off a dominant campaign, averaging 26.9 points, 11.9 boards, 2.6 blocks, and 1.8 steals across 38 appearances. Wilson became the fourth player in league history to win three MVPs and the first since Cynthia Cooper in 1997 to win the award unanimously.
