PHOTO: Norway's men's curling team goes pants-less in Olympic Park
Norway's men's curling team is known for bold fashion statements. The Norwegian curlers sport some of the funkiest-looking pants at their Olympic matches, but that is the only place you will see those crazy trousers.
The Norwegian Olympic Committee has a rule forbidding the team from wearing their iconic clothing outside of the curling area. Instead, they must wear clothing provide by Phenix, Norway's official supplier. The rule has led to some interesting requests.
A Norwegian paper wanted a picture of the team wearing their outrageous pants in the Olympic Park, but because of the rule they were unable to comply. So the paper did the next best thing, and photographed the team in the park without pants at all.
"A Norwegian newspaper wanted to take a picture of the four of us guys [in their pants] away from curling," Norwegian skip Thomas Ulsrud told the Associated Press. "We said we have some rules in the Olympics, so we aren't allowed to do that. So they asked could they have a picture without pants.
"I said 'Sure, I have great legs.'"

Ulsrud told the Associated Press that the picture was not taken in protest of the rule and instead was only "a bit of fun."
Norway continues the men's round robin -- fully clothed -- on Friday with matches against Canada and China
