French Open 2016: Ranking the first week fashion
Known for being one of Europe's fashion hubs, Paris welcomes a host of tennis players each May who try to emulate the city's trademark sartorial excellence when they take the court at Roland Garros.
Here's a look at some of the more noteworthy looks on display through the first week of the 2016 French Open:
Alize Lim (France) 10/10

Despite losing in the first round to Camila Giorgi, France's Alize Lim boasts one of the tourney's most compelling outfits. The Coq Sportif piece is unique enough to be an overall winner.
Marcos Baghdatis (Cyprus) 9/10

A decade removed from a career-defining Aussie Open finals loss to Roger Federer, Cypriot Marcos Baghdatis' career hasn't quite developed as expected, though his all-black ensemble is the thing of champions.
Ana Ivanovic (Serbia) 9/10

The most divisive storyline through the first week of the 2016 French Open was Adidas' new zebra-inspired line of tennis wear for men and women. Ivanovic, the 2008 champ, has displayed a scattered pattern of results of late, matched only by her attire.
Jan-Lennard Struff (Germany) 8/10

Long-shot German Jan-Lennard Struff couldn't get past a zebra-sporting Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in Round 2, but his tattoo-inspired strip did leave its mark.
Eugenie Bouchard (Canada) 6/10

Hoping to locate the form that saw her make two slam semis and the Wimbledon final in 2014, Canadian darling Eugenie Bouchard adopted a slick monochromatic look for her second-round defeat to ninth-seeded Timea Bacsinszky.
Stan Wawrinka (Switzerland) 5/10

A favorite among crossing guards and cyclists alike, defending champ Stan Wawrinka sported a luminous kit in reaching the quarters. Who says you have to look great to play well?
Venus Williams (USA) 4/10

Full credit to Venus Williams for her entrepreneurial know-how, as the seven-time slam winner sported an item from her own line of tennis apparel at Roland Garros. That said, there's a lot going on here, and none of it is good.
Honorable mention: Serena Williams' kicks 10/10
