Reports of Gronkowski closing in on a deal with WWE surfaced last week, and his role at the company is still unclear.
The 30-year-old, who's currently a football analyst for Fox Sports, previously made an appearance at WrestleMania 33 in April 2017, helping Rawley win the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
The three-time Super Bowl champion told reporters last August that pro wrestling is something he would be interested in pursuing in some capacity over the next few years.
