Bernardo Silva is tempted to move to Saudi Arabia after learning he could more than triple his current Manchester City pay packet with Riyadh-based Al Hilal, according to ESPN's Rob Dawson.

Al Hilal are prepared to offer Silva close to £500,000 per week. The playmaker was reportedly poised to snub a lucrative switch to the Saudi Pro League because he preferred to stay in Europe but is now reconsidering. Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain were expected to compete for his signature.

The 28-year-old currently takes home a weekly wage of around £150,000. Silva's Manchester City contract runs until 2025, and the club is reportedly open to offering him new terms, but it won't match Al Hilal's offer.

Al Hilal already signed Ruben Neves and Kalidou Koulibaly this summer. They recently named Jorge Jesus as head coach - he worked with Silva during the midfielder's formative years at Benfica.

Manchester City would demand a significant fee for Silva if he decides he wants to leave.

The Portuguese star has collected 12 major honors over 302 competitive appearances for Manchester City, including last season's historic treble of the Champions League, Premier League, and FA Cup.
