DeChambeau withdraws from Saudi International with hand, hip injuries

Bryson DeChambeau withdrew from the Saudi International prior to the second round due to hand and hip injuries, the tournament announced Friday, according to Golf Digest.

DeChambeau fired a 3-over 73 to open the tournament Thursday. He was seen wincing on numerous occasions at the Farmers Insurance Open in late January and withdrew from the Sony Open in early January due to a wrist injury.

The world No. 9 has made headlines frequently as of late. He was reportedly offered $135 million to join the Saudi-backed Super Golf League.

Several of the game's biggest stars traveled to Saudi Arabia for this tournament, including Dustin Johnson, Phil Mickelson, Xander Schauffele, and Tony Finau.
