When you're earning props from one of the most dominant pitchers to grace a Major League Baseball mound, you're doing something right.
After Oakland Athletics right-hander Jharel Cotton struck out six Kansas City Royals hitters during a seven-inning shutout performance Monday, the 25-year-old rookie received high marks from Pedro Martinez, who even compared the young hurler to himself.
Jharel Cotton reminds me a lot of myself. Nasty change up, nice cutter, same arm angle and rotation, and same grip I used to have.
