Rays select USF ace Shane McClanahan as compensation for Cobb

With the 31st pick in the 2018 MLB amateur draft, the Tampa Bay Rays selected South Florida ace Shane McClanahan, who may have the best pure stuff of any left-hander in this year's class. He is a compensation pick for right-handed pitcher Alex Cobb signing with the Baltimore Orioles.
