The New York Mets are in agreement with left-handed reliever Justin Wilson on a two-year deal, the team announced Monday.
Wilson will earn $10 million over the two years, according to Jon Heyman of Fancred Sports.
The contract also includes performance bonuses, a source told MLB.com's Mark Feinsand.
The 31-year-old Wilson spent the past season and a half with the Chicago Cubs, striking out 11.7 hitters per nine innings while also struggling to put the ball over the plate (6.5 walks per nine).
He'll now join a revamped Mets bullpen that includes set-up man Jeurys Familia and closer Edwin Diaz.
