The injury bug has bitten yet another member of the Los Angeles Dodgers' rotation.

Los Angeles placed left-hander Julio Urias on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a left calf contusion. The team recalled infielder/outfielder Zach McKinstry from Triple-A Oklahoma City in a corresponding move.

Urias suffered the injury when he was hit by a pitch while attempting to bunt in the fourth inning of Friday's game against the New York Mets. He pitched two more innings after the HBP.

The Dodgers are hopeful Urias will only miss one start later this week, according to Juan Toribio of MLB.com.

Urias, who turned 25 on Thursday, has been stellar for Los Angeles in his first full season as a starting pitcher. He's tied for the major-league lead in wins (13) and starts (24), and he owns a 3.29 ERA, 3.38 FIP, and 1.07 WHIP with 149 strikeouts and just 30 walks.

The Dodgers now have 14 pitchers - including five starters - on the IL. Their suddenly thin rotation now features just Walker Buehler, Max Scherzer, and David Price; ace Clayton Kershaw and trade-deadline acquisition Danny Duffy are both sidelined.
