Alonso, Acuna, Pujols will take part in 2022 HR Derby
The 2022 Home Run Derby in Los Angeles is shaping up to be a good one.
New York Mets first baseman Pete Alonso will compete for his third straight title at the event:
Alonso defeated Vladimir Guerrero Jr. in the 2019 final and took down Trey Mancini in the final round in 2021. There was no contest in 2020 due to the pandemic.
Atlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. is also returning to the Home Run Derby after he took part in 2019:

The rest of the field for the July 18 event held at Dodger Stadium has yet to be revealed.
