Yankees eliminated from post-season contention
The Cleveland Indians defeated the Chicago White Sox Wednesday night 7-2 and by doing so, they have eliminated the New York Yankees from playoff contention.

Justin Masterson came on to pitch the 9th for Cleveland. It was his first relief appearance since 2011.
