The Los Angeles Dodgers clinched the National League's No. 1 seed and home-field advantage through the NLCS thanks to the Philadelphia Phillies' 6-3 loss to the Washington Nationals on Saturday.

Los Angeles will also finish with the best record in baseball, which guarantees the team home field in any World Series matchup. This is the fourth time since 2017 that the Dodgers have the most wins in the majors.

The Phillies, meanwhile, are now locked into the NL's No. 2 seed and will face the winner of the 3-6 wild-card series in the NLDS. The Dodgers will take on either the No. 4 or No. 5 seed in the division series.

Both division series will kick off on Oct. 5.
