The Detroit Tigers have added some outfield depth to their roster, signing 28-year old Jordany Valdespin to a minor-league contract, reports Jon Heyman of CBS Sports.
Valdespin appeared in just two games for the Miami Marlins last season, failing to earn a hit.
The Dominican owns a career .216/.271/.369 slash line with 15 home runs and 52 RBIs across his four-year career.
