UFC 307 is beginning to take shape.

Kayla Harrison will face Ketlen Vieira at the Oct. 5 pay-per-view event, sources told MMA Fighting's Damon Martin and Guilherme Cruz. A bout between Jose Aldo and Mario Bautista is also in the works for the card, per Martin.

Harrison made her UFC debut in April, submitting Holly Holm at UFC 300. The bantamweight owns a 17-1 career record across her time with the PFL and UFC.

Vieira brings a 14-3 record into the matchup. The 32-year-old's most recent appearance came in July 2023 when she defeated Pannie Kianzad by unanimous decision.

Meanwhile, Aldo has won four of his last five fights, all by unanimous decision. The 37-year-old's most recent bout was a victory over Jonathan Martinez at UFC 301.

Bautista has won six consecutive fights dating back to February 2019. He most recently defeated Ricky Simon by unanimous decision in January.

Former strawweight champion Carla Esparza announced she'll take on Tecia Pennington in her retirement fight at UFC 307. Esparza last competed in November 2022, losing the belt to Zhang Weili. She then became pregnant and took a hiatus. Esparza and Pennington previously faced off in an exhibition bout during "The Ultimate Fighter 20" in December 2014, with the former winning by a majority decision.

A fight between featherweight contenders Aljamain Sterling and Movsar Evloev was previously confirmed for UFC 307, which will take place in Salt Lake City.
