Rockets sign James Nunnally to 10-day contract
After failing to reach a deal with Danuel House Jr., the Houston Rockets signed guard James Nunnally to a 10-day contract on Wednesday, the team announced.
Nunnally began the 2018-19 season with the Minnesota Timberwolves, averaging 2.1 points per contest in limited action. The 28-year-old was released last week by the T-Wolves and received several offers from European teams, according to the Houston Chronicle's Jonathan Feigen.

Before returning to the NBA, Nunnally spent the previous two seasons in Turkey with Fenerbahce. In 2017-18, he averaged 9.3 points on 54.0 percent shooting, including a sizzling 55.4 percent success rate from downtown.
The Rockets are hopeful that Nunnally and injured guard Eric Gordon will play on Wednesday against the Brooklyn Nets, The Athletic's Shams Charania reports.
Gordon's missed the past eight games with a right knee contusion while Clint Capela recently joined star point guard Chris Paul on the shelf with a thumb injury.
Houston (25-18) sits fourth in the Western Conference entering play Wednesday.
