The Sacramento Kings have cast a wide net in their search to replace former general manager Vlade Divac.

San Antonio Spurs vice president of basketball operations Brent Barry, Toronto Raptors general manager Bobby Webster, and New York Knicks general manager Scott Perry are on the Kings' preliminary shortlist, according to Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee.

Boston Celtics assistant general manager Mike Zarren, Miami Heat assistant general manager Adam Simon, and Los Angeles Clippers assistant general manager Trent Redden are also among those that may receive consideration.

The club is expected to hire an executive search firm to help find Divac's successor, but some candidates may be hesitant to take the job opening without total roster control, sources told Anderson.

Former Detroit Pistons player and executive Joe Dumars is currently serving as Sacramento's interim GM. The Kings are also in need of an assistant GM after Peja Stojakovic stepped down on Saturday.

Sacramento finished 12th in the Western Conference this season, extending its league-leading active playoff drought to 14 seasons.
