Atlanta Hawks forward De'Andre Hunter has suffered articular wear and tear in his right knee and will be re-evaluated next week, the team announced Saturday.
The Hawks' statement added that Hunter will miss Monday's meeting with the Los Angeles Lakers after receiving a non-surgical procedure to treat the injury.
Hunter was ruled out for the second half of Friday's date with the Washington Wizards with right knee soreness after appearing to injure himself in the second quarter of the 116-100 victory.
The second-year pro had missed just one of Atlanta's previous 19 games this season and is averaging 17.2 points and 5.4 rebounds.
