Spurs' next 3 games, Hornets' next 2 postponed
The San Antonio Spurs' next three games are postponed after the team received four positive COVID-19 test results, the NBA announced Tuesday. The Charlotte Hornets, who played San Antonio on Sunday night, also had their next two games postponed due to contact tracing.
The Spurs have remained quarantined in Charlotte since Sunday, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. Tuesday's scheduled game against the Detroit Pistons had already been postponed.
The affected San Antonio contests are Wednesday's scheduled matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Saturday's game against the New York Knicks, and next Monday's game against the Indiana Pacers.
Charlotte's postponements are Wednesday's meeting with the Chicago Bulls and Friday's matchup against the Denver Nuggets.
