The Indiana Pacers are finalizing a trade to acquire Obi Toppin from the New York Knicks in exchange for a pair of second-round picks, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Toppin played in 201 games and made 15 starts for the Knicks since being drafted eighth overall in 2020. The power forward averaged just 4.1 points per game in his rookie year, but his production slightly increased in his next two seasons. Toppin put up a personal-best nine points per game in 2021 before averaging 7.4 PPG in 2022.

The Dayton product's free-throw and 3-point percentages increased in each of his three seasons. He owns a career field-goal percentage of 49.2%.

Toppin was named a consensus first-team All-American in 2020. The 25-year-old also flashed his ability at the 2022 All-Star Game by winning the Slam Dunk contest.
