The Los Angeles Clippers are working with guard Russell Westbrook to find a trade partner that works for both sides, sources told TNT Sports' Chris Haynes.

It's believed that Westbrook has played his final game for the franchise, Haynes reports.

The decision to shop the nine-time All-Star comes just days after Westbrook picked up his $4-million player option for the 2024-25 season.

The 35-year-old averaged 11.1 points, five rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.1 steals in 68 games last season while coming off the bench for the Clippers. Westbrook initially joined L.A. in February 2023.

The UCLA product began his career with the Oklahoma City Thunder, where he spent the first 11 seasons of his career. He was named the league MVP in 2016-17 after averaging 31.6 points, 10.4 assists, and 10.7 rebounds.

Westbrook hasn't been able to recapture his MVP form in recent years amid stints with the Houston Rockets, Washington Wizards, Los Angeles Lakers, and Clippers.
