The Minnesota Timberwolves are optimistic that Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo will return at some point during their upcoming road trip, ESPN's Shams Charania reports.

Minnesota's four-game swing away from home begins Monday at Oklahoma City and ends next Sunday in Phoenix.

Randle has missed the last nine games due to a groin injury, while a toe ailment has kept DiVincenzo on the sidelines for 17 straight contests.

The Timberwolves acquired both players from the New York Knicks last October as part of the Karl-Anthony Towns blockbuster trade.

Randle's averaging 18.9 points, 7.2 boards, and 4.5 assists across 48 appearances this season.

DiVincenzo was finding his rhythm after being moved into the starting lineup. He averaged 17.5 points and shot 42.1% from deep in his last six appearances prior to being sidelined.

Minnesota sits seventh in the West entering Sunday's action with a 31-26 record.
