One of the most prolific scorers in college basketball will finish his career at a different program as Howard's James Daniel III will pursue a graduate transfer, sources told ESPN's Jeff Goodman.
The 6-foot, 175-pounder played in just two games last season due to injury but led the country in scoring during the 2015-16 season, averaging a whopping 27.1 points.
As per NCAA regulations, Daniel will be immediately eligible for next season, and with his scoring pedigree, he should be one of the most highly recruited graduate transfers on the market.
