Harbaugh shoots down rumors of Michigan 'exit strategy'
Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh sent out a letter to his players' parents on Wednesday emphasizing that he has no "exit strategy" in place following the season.
As a bench boss with a history of success in the NFL, Harbaugh's name is often discussed with respect to open coaching positions in the pros. However, he insisted that he's committed to the development of the players on the Wolverines football team.
The former NFL Coach of the Year has been in Ann Arbor since 2015. He has amassed a 43-16 overall record with Michigan, including a 5-2 start to the 2019 campaign.
Harbaugh and the Wolverines are coming off a tough 28-21 loss to No. 6 Penn State that dropped them to 19th in the AP poll. It doesn't get any easier, as the 55-year-old's squad will host No. 8 Notre Dame this weekend.
