Wide receiver Jaime Ffrench committed to Texas on Friday, the recruit told On 3' Hayes Fawcett.

Ffrench is the 17th overall prospect and second wide receiver on the ESPN 300. He's also the third-ranked recruit from Florida.

The 6-foot-1, 180-pounder chose the Longhorns over LSU, Miami, and Tennessee. He also held offers from a number of other programs.

"There were a lot of challenges with LSU and Miami at different times, but since my first visit to Texas, they have been on top," Ffrench said, according to On3's Chad Simmons.

He added: "It is very family-oriented at Texas and they did a great job connecting with my family even more than they did with me. That meant a lot and it showed me a lot."

Texas' class of 2025 now includes 10 commitments from ESPN 300 prospects, including five-star linebacker Jonah Williams and top-four wide receiver Kaliq Lockett.

Ffrench is confident that his recruiting class can help the Longhorns win their first College Football Playoff national championship and first national title since 2005.

"Texas is a legendary program and we are building a legendary team under coach Sark," Ffrench said. "It is a great program and coach Sark is doing big things. Texas will win a national championship under coach Sark."
