Utah quarterback Isaac Wilson got the start over Cam Rising on Saturday in the team's 22-19 win against Oklahoma State.

Rising took part in the Utes' pregame workout. However, it was the freshman Wilson who ran onto the field for the team's first offensive series.

Rising missed Utah's rivalry game against Utah State because of a finger injury on his throwing hand last week. He got hurt in the team's previous outing, a victory over Baylor.

Wilson also received the starting nod in Utah's 38-21 win over Utah State.

The 6-foot-2, 220-pound Rising has completed 18 of 29 pass attempts for 346 yards with seven touchdowns against zero interceptions this season. He's also tallied 46 yards on six carries.

Oklahoma State has allowed 462.7 total yards per game, ranking 124th in the nation.
