Florida head coach Billy Napier announced quarterback DJ Lagway won't play against Texas due to a lower-body injury sustained last week, according to Inside Texas.
Aidan Warner started the contest after replacing Lagway last week. Warner completed seven of his 22 pass attempts for 66 yards and an interception in the loss to Georgia.
Lagway was carted off against the Bulldogs. Napier said earlier in the week that the injury was less significant than initially expected.
The true freshman has thrown for 1,071 yards, six touchdowns, and five picks on 60.9% passing this season.
