Wake Forest is hiring Washington State head coach Jake Dickert in the same role, sources told Ralph D. Russo and Bruce Feldman of The Athletic.
Dickert took over as Washington State's interim head coach in 2021 before holding the full-time job from 2022-24.
The 41-year-old owns a 23-20 record, including an 8-4 mark in 2024.
Wake Forest is fresh off a 4-8 campaign that marked the second consecutive losing season for the school. The program went 2-6 in ACC games.
Dave Clawson stepped down Monday after 11 years as Wake Forest's sideline boss.
