UCLA head coach Jim Mora Jr. calls out running back for fumble

Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

UCLA head coach Jim Mora Jr. made his thoughts about running back Jordon James's fourth quarter fumble against Texas clear Wednesday by singling out the senior running back's poor performance to reporters.

James fumbled on the Texas 31-yard line late in the fourth quarter with the Bruins down 17-13 to the Longhorns.

"I don’t care what you’ve done before that, that’s a big deal," said Mora, according to beat writer Ryan Kartje.

Mora than went on to talk about how impressed he's been with freshman running back Nate Starks.

James has rushed for 74 yards on 15 attempts this season – including 69 yards against Texas – while Starks has rushed for 22 yards on five attempts this season.
