Trey Quinn is on his way out of Baton Rouge.
The LSU sophomore receiver announced Tuesday he is transferring, but will remain at the school for the spring semester. His transfer means he will have to sit out a season of eligibility, per NCAA rules.
Quinn was a promising prospect for the Tigers, recruited out of high school as the No. 3 wide receiver in the country.
He was used sparingly though, only registering 22 receptions for 276 yards over two seasons.
LSU also announced wide receiver Kevin Spears will transfer. The sophomore didn't record any statistics in 2015.
