Fultz thinks he'd be a great fit with 76ers
Whether Markelle Fultz ends up in a Philadelphia 76ers uniform is a question that still cannot be answered. But the Washington phenom described what he likes about the current Sixers roster and their style after his Saturday-evening workout with the team.
"I think it'd be great. They're big on defense. I think the tools I have to be a defensive player, I think that would help them. Get out in transition. I'm a pretty good shot-blocker for a point guard so I think helping them with that," explained Fultz in his post-workout media availability.
Fultz was particularly excited about the Sixers' young roster, describing the upside of the team as "crazy" and even indulging in a photo op with his prospective teammates.
The 19-year-old remained mum on the bubbling rumors of a potential trade between the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia, stating that he doesn't pay a lot of attention to the reports and would be happy to take his talents to wherever he goes.
Center Joel Embiid had his own take on the Sixers going after Fultz.
