Army is 2-0 despite passing for only 17 yards all season
It would be considered a massive disappointment for almost any team in the country to only have 17 passing yards through two weeks of the season.
For Army however, it's a badge of honor.
After two weeks Army is off to a perfect 2-0 start, despite the fact the offense has thrown for just 17 yards combined in those two games.
That is the beauty of the triple-option flexbone offense that the Black Knights employ, as the program is once again steamrolling opponents with the devastating rushing attack.
After completing zero passes as a team in the 64-6 beatdown of Fordham in their opener, quarterback Ahmad Bradshaw was 2-for-8 on Saturday against Buffalo for 17 yards. The team rushed for 322 yards and outscored the Bulls 14-0 in the fourth quarter to post the 21-17 victory.
That comes a week after piling up 513 yards on the ground against Fordham on a ridiculous 10.9 yards per carry.
The successful run with virtually no passing game is likely coming to an end next week when Army faces No. 2 Ohio State, but through two games at least, the Black Knights rushing attack is the toast of the town.
