Namajunas to remain in UFC 223, Lobov yanked after media day melee
Rose Namajunas has decided to soldier on.
The strawweight champion will remain on Saturday's UFC 233 card and defend her title against Joanna Jedrzejczyk after narrowly escaping injury during a melee that saw Conor McGregor and an entourage swarm a van carrying several fighters out of Thursday's media day in Brooklyn, N.Y., ESPN's Brett Okamoto reports.

Lightweight Michael Chiesa is reportedly still hospitalized with several lacerations, while McGregor's teammate, Artem Lobov - who was allegedly involved in the chaos - has been pulled from his fight with Alex Caceres. It remains to be seen whether Chiesa will be fit to face Anthony Pettis on Saturday's main card.
The development comes after McGregor and his posse crashed media day and began throwing a number of objects at a bus meant to carry several fighters and their teams back to their hotel. McGregor is believed to have intended to confront lightweight contender Khabib Nurmagomedov - who had words with Lobov earlier this week - and was seen smashing a window with a dolly.
Namajunas was not hurt in the chaos, but was mentally shaken up and ultimately walked back to the fighters' hotel.
The NYPD is currently investigating the debacle and has not yet issued a warrant for McGregor's arrest, despite UFC president Dana White saying it had following the incident.
