Clippers draft Jerome Robinson with No. 13 pick
With the No. 13 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, the Los Angeles Clippers have selected Boston College guard Jerome Robinson.
Robinson is coming off a monster junior season in which he averaged an ACC-leading 20.7 points a game on .485/.409/.830 shooting, honing his offensive repertoire and continuing his improbable evolution into a knock-down pullup jump shooter. Though he doesn't have a particularly quick release, Robinson creates enough separation to get his shot off with his quickness and shifty hesitation moves.
There are concerns about Robinson's ability to defend and be a primary ball-handler at the next level, and he has a ways to go as a facilitator, but he has the size to play either guard position and works effectively with and without the basketball.

What the analysts are saying
- "A smooth, high-IQ combo guard ... one that can offer shooting, creativity, and has the versatility to play either on or off the ball." - Jonathan Givony, ESPN
- "Robinson needs just enough refinement on both ends of the court that he will likely need to spend some amount of time in the G League unless he is drafted by one of the five (or so) worst teams in the league. And he is already 21 years old. But ... his scoring prowess along with an increasingly well-rounded offensive game could be attractive." - Glen Willis, Peachtree Hoops
