Report: Kawhi expected to attend Team USA camp; unclear if he'll practice
A reunion could be on the horizon for all parties involved in the Kawhi Leonard-DeMar DeRozan trade.
Leonard is expected to attend Team USA's minicamp in Las Vegas, although it is unclear if he will participate in any on-court practices, TSN's Josh Lewenberg reports.
It had previously been reported that the 27-year-old was considering attending the camp to re-establish his trade value prior to the deal swung between the San Antonio Spurs and Toronto Raptors.
DeRozan, as well as Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry, will also be in attendance at the camp, Lewenberg added.
The 35-player summit will be the first senior men's event with Gregg Popovich at the helm of the program. The Spurs bench boss coached Leonard for seven seasons prior to last week's blockbuster.
