Report: Adams' TNF toe injury not considered serious
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams had his career night cut short by a toe injury late in his team's 34-27 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night.
Adams underwent an MRI on Friday and his injury is not believed to be serious, sources told to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
After the loss, Adams called the ailment a turf-toe injury and said the pain was so severe he didn't "even want to try" to put on his shoe, according to ESPN's Rob Demovsky.
The 26-year-old had a career-high 180 yards on 10 catches - 158 of which came in the first half - before suffering the injury on a fourth-quarter grab that put the Packers in the red zone.

The Eagles had no answer for Adams, who burned them for several big plays, including a picture-perfect 58-yard connection with Aaron Rodgers:

But Adams was forced to watch from the sidelines as Green Bay drove the field in the dying minutes to try and force overtime.
Even without his favorite target, Rodgers managed to lead the Packers to the goal line. But with 28 seconds remaining, Eagles defenders tipped the star quarterback's goal-line pass to Marquez Valdes-Scantling for a victory-sealing interception.
