Rodgers 'a couple weeks' away from figuring out 2021 plans
Aaron Rodgers offered a rough timeline Saturday for when he'll have a plan in place for the 2021 season, which may or may not include the Green Bay Packers.
"I'm going to enjoy the hell out of this week, and then I'm going to get back to working out and figure things out in a couple weeks," he said at the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship Tournament.
Rodgers has been coy about his status with the Packers throughout the offseason amid tensions with the front office. He said Tuesday while playing in "The Match" with Tom Brady, Phil Mickelson, and Bryson DeChambeau that he wasn't sure where he'll be in Week 1.
He's spent his entire 16-year career in Green Bay, winning three NFL MVP awards and one Super Bowl. The 37-year-old led the Packers to the NFC Championship Game the last two seasons.
Green Bay is scheduled to open training camp on July 28.
