Warriors' Kerr signs NBA record 2-year, $35M extension
Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr agreed to a two-year, $35 million contract extension, his agent told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
At $17.5 million per year, Kerr will be the highest-paid coach in NBA history.
The extension will take him through the 2025-26 season.

He did say the feels “really good” about his future with the Warriors, which got some laughs in the press conference room.
The 58-year-old has been the head coach of the Warriors since 2014, winning four championships and making six trips to the NBA Finals. Kerr was at the helm when the Warriors won an NBA-record 73 games in 2015-16.
Kerr, who won five titles as a player during his 15-year career, was also the general manager of the Phoenix Suns from 2007-2010.
