Lonzo: Clippers' new arena has best away locker room I've been in
Chicago Bulls guard Lonzo Ball is a big fan of the Los Angeles Clippers' new home.
Ball shared his thoughts on Intuit Dome following the Bulls' 112-99 win over L.A. on Monday, making special mention of Clippers owner Steve Ballmer for thinking of the away team in the arena's construction.
"I like this arena a lot. I know I didn't shoot too well today, but shoutout Ballmer for thinking about us," Ball said, per Clutch Points' Tomer Azarly. "This is probably the best locker room, away, that I've ever been in. Stadium's, definitely, you can tell a lot has been put into it, and shout out to him for doing that."
Ball added that the arena has "a bunch of stuff" he had never seen before, like the double-sided Halo Board.
"Fireworks and stuff before the game. That little circle thing above the court. Locker room - you got tubs over there and stuff," he said. "(Ballmer's) a very thoughtful man, thinking of the away team. We appreciate that."
The Clippers shared Crypto.com Arena with the Los Angeles Lakers for 25 years before moving into Inuit Dome in Inglewood this season. The new arena cost $2 billion to build and has a capacity of 18,000.
