Brady back at practice after 2 days off with knee injury

Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports / Reuters

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady returned to the practice field Friday after missing the previous two days with a knee injury.

Back-to-back missed sessions for Brady are unusual, but perhaps the Patriots were simply trying to get their veteran passer a little extra rest and time with the family on Thanksgiving week.

There is no indication Brady won't play Sunday against the New York Jets.

Tight end Martellus Bennett also made his return to practice Friday after missing Thursday's session with an ankle injury. It appears he, too, will be available to play Sunday.
