Los Angeles Rams offensive guard Jamon Brown has been suspended two games without pay for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy, the team announced Tuesday.

Brown, a third-round pick in the 2015 draft, started all 16 games for Los Angeles at right guard in 2017.

The former Louisville Cardinal is entering his fourth NFL season, and will be eligible to participate during training camp and the preseason.

Austin Blythe, who started one game at left guard last season, will presumably compete with Brian Allen and Aaron Neary for Brown's spot in the Rams' first two games against the Oakland Raiders and Arizona Cardinals.
