J.J. Watt is ready for a fresh start after missing all but eight games over the past two seasons due to injuries.
In honor of his latest comeback, the Houston Texans defensive end and Reebok are releasing a new training shoe dubbed the JJ II "Clean Slate" on Thursday.
Watt spoke about his desire for a clean slate in an interview with Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle last month.
"When I started this rehab process, the one thing I wanted to do was earn a clean slate," Watt said. "I wanted to earn a fresh start, earn a chance to go out there, start a training camp from day one, go out there and play. I think that clean slate has come and I have a chance to once again try to write my own story."
