The New Orleans Saints decided to stay in New Orleans and not evacuate to Indianapolis on Thursday as Hurricane Delta weakens and heads west of the city, The Athletic's Jeff Duncan reports.
The Saints reportedly considered shifting to Indianapolis due to the hurricane and playing their Monday Night Football game against the Los Angeles Chargers at Lucas Oil Stadium since the Colts will be on the road in Week 5.
Moving the game reportedly was a last resort for the Saints.
Hurricane Delta has already caused one major schedule change in Louisiana, as LSU's home game Saturday was moved from Baton Rouge to Missouri.
