Jim Harbaugh was in peak form during Monday's media availability as his Los Angeles Chargers put on the pads - or "armor" as Harbaugh likes to call it - for the first time this offseason.

Here are our top five Harbaugh moments from Monday's presser.

'How much time do I have today?'

Harbaugh started the presser declaring his love for anything and everything football.

"Pads or no pads, I look at, 'How much time do I have today?' Today, practice gets to be an hour and 45 minutes. ... It's an hour and 45 minutes of pure joy for me.

"Sun shining, cool breeze coming in off of the ocean," he continued. "Get to interact with the players, the coaches, all of us who have a love and passion for the game of football. So, yeah. It's just a gift."

'It's just, the analogy of a rocket taking off, you know?'

It took the Chargers boss just a few minutes to create a classic Harbaugh moment when he compared ramping up training camp to a rocket taking off. And of course, Harbaugh had to demonstrate what exactly a rocket launch looks like, too.

'The team got bigger and stronger!'

Harbaugh certainly has a flair for the dramatic, but his explanation of Alohi Gilman's absence might be some of his best work yet. When asked about Gilman, Harbaugh stretched out his arms and belted, "The team got bigger and stronger," before sharing that Gilman just welcomed a child and detailing the newborn's measureables.

"Alohi and his wife had a baby. ... And the measureables are good. I mean, really close to 9 pounds. Got some length, close to 21 inches. Haven't gotten a wingspan yet, but hopefully we'll get that today."

'I was playing quarterback'

Harbaugh was asked how left tackle Rashawn Slater looked during practice, but the 60-year-old was understandably distracted during one of the team's drills.

"Good, I think," he said of Slater's performance. "I mean, I was playing quarterback during the drill, so I was conscious of getting hit. But did not, when he was in there. So, good."

'Guilty as charged'

For those looking for medical advice or updates on the health of your top fantasy football performer, don't go asking Harbaugh. The Chargers coach unveiled a number of preset answers he plans to give all season when asked about the availability of his players.

"So for clarity, whenever I'm asked about anybody's medical condition other than my own, the following will be my best effort to relay information: 'I am not medically qualified to categorize or speculate as to how someone else is feeling. The best I can do is say that someone is working through something. Two, I get the report from those who are qualified and then follow the instructions. Three, if at times I look or sound like I am not a medical expert in the field of medicine, guilty as charged.'"
