Veteran cornerback Stephon Gilmore is signing a one-year deal worth up to $10 million with the Minnesota Vikings, his agent told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The deal contains $7 million in guaranteed money.

Gilmore, who visited the NFC North franchise earlier in August, gives the Vikings another experienced cornerback in their secondary, joining Byron Murphy Jr. and Shaq Griffin, among others.

The 33-year-old spent last season with the Dallas Cowboys, starting all 17 games and recording two interceptions and 13 passes defended.

Minnesota will mark Gilmore's fourth team in as many years following one-year stays with the Cowboys (2023), Indianapolis Colts (2022), and Carolina Panthers (2021).

A former first-round pick, Gilmore began his career with the Buffalo Bills but enjoyed his greatest success with the New England Patriots. He was named Defensive Player of the Year in 2019 as a member of the Pats after a league-high six interceptions.
