Report: Cowboys' Parsons suffers high ankle sprain
Dallas Cowboys edge rusher Micah Parsons suffered a high ankle sprain in Thursday's 20-15 win over the New York Giants, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
His status reportedly has yet to be determined.
Parsons was slated to undergo an MRI on his left ankle Friday after being carted to the locker room in the fourth quarter of the prime-time game.
The Cowboys star said postgame that he knew "very little" about the injury but would "try to get back next week," according to ESPN's Todd Archer. Parsons mentioned that his X-rays came back negative.
Parsons went down after a Giants offensive lineman rolled onto his leg. The All-Pro defender was helped off the field and spent time in the blue medical tent before leaving the contest on a cart with his left shoe off.

Parsons wasn't the only Cowboys injury. Defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence is also reportedly expected to miss multiple weeks due to a foot injury he suffered Thursday.
Parsons - who finished in the top three of Defensive Player of the Year voting in each of his first three NFL seasons - recorded two tackles (one for loss) before leaving the game.
He also sustained a neck injury in Thursday's first half. He spent time on the sideline and missed a few plays but managed to return.
The Cowboys' next game is against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 5.
