Cincinnati Bengals defensive back Dax Hill is feared to have suffered a torn ACL on Sunday that would end his season, sources told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Hill left the Week 5 game against the Baltimore Ravens in the first quarter and didn't return.

Hill spent time in the medical tent before limping to the locker room, according to Dave Clark of the Cincinnati Enquirer.

"I thought Dax was playing really good football for us. He's worked really hard to get himself in that position. ... Certainly heartbreaking for him," head coach Zac Taylor told reporters after the game, according to Around the Jungle.

Hill is in his third season with the Bengals after being selected in the first round of the 2022 draft. He switched to cornerback this campaign after playing safety for the first two years of his NFL career.

The 24-year-old played 96% of the defensive snaps leading up to Sunday's game. He's allowed 13 receptions for 125 yards and one touchdown in coverage in 2024, according to Pro Football Reference.

The Bengals' cornerback depth chart heading into Week 6 includes DJ Turner II, Cam Taylor-Britt, and Josh Newton.
