The NFL plans to play eight international games in 2025, commissioner Roger Goodell told Colleen Wolfe of NFL Network.

Spain, Mexico City, Brazil, London, Ireland, and Germany are all being considered.

The league scheduled five international games for 2024, with the final one slated for Sunday in Munich, Germany. London hosted three contests, while the NFL played their first-ever game in São Paulo, Brazil.

"Starting in Brazil was fantastic," Goodell said Sunday in Munich before the Giants and Panthers face off. "São Paulo was new for us, and they could not have gone better. (The) teams had a great time.

"The London series was fantastic as always," he continued. "Looking forward to next year."

Madrid has already been revealed as one of the host cities for the 2025 campaign. Next season's schedule will be announced in the spring.
