Eight-time Pro Bowl cornerback Patrick Peterson will be retiring with the Arizona Cardinals on Monday, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Peterson played the first 10 seasons of his career with the Cardinals, who drafted him fifth overall in the 2011 NFL Draft.

All eight of the 34-year-old's Pro Bowls occurred during the first eight seasons of his career, and he was named a First-Team All-Pro on three occasions.

During his 10-year stay with Arizona, Peterson recorded 28 interceptions, two forced fumbles, and 12 fumble recoveries.

The cornerback also shined as a punt returner during his rookie season as he led the NFL in return yardage (699) and touchdowns (four).

Peterson enjoyed a two-year tenure with the Minnesota Vikings from 2021-22 and a one-season stop with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2023.

Peterson ends his NFL journey with 36 interceptions and two pick-6s.
